Henderson trained at Olé while playing with Western Suburbs from 2003 to 2005 before attending Dartmouth College (New Hampshire) in 2006. He represented NZ at the 2007 u20 World Cup in Canada, and the 2008 Olympics in China. He was an NCAA D1 All-American at Dartmouth and has gone on to sign a professional contract with Mjallby AIF in the Swedish Premier League (Allsvenskan). Henderson was unlucky to miss out on the 2010 All Whites World Cup team due to injury, but is sure to be involved in future All White camps.
