James was a member of the 2010 Tomorrow’s All Whites Tour. A tireless midfielder, James’ leadership qualities were recognized when he was made captain of the Auckland Grammar School 1st XI in his senior year. During this time, he was named MVP of the National Secondary Schools Football Championship and was selected for the New Zealand Schoolboys team to tour the United Kingdom. James is a squad member of ASB Premiership side Auckland City and has accepted an athletic scholarship to Marquette University.
