Michael was a member of the 2008 Olé US University Tour. He has been a bright talent in Wellington football for sometime, appearing for Team Wellington in the NZFC at the age of just 17. He also represented New Zealand at the 2009 u20 Oceania World Cup Qualifiers. He accepted a scholarship to Fairfield University in Connecticut for the 2009 season, but has since returned home is currently playing for Team Wellington(2010).
