Olé Premier Re-signs Talented Trio
The Olé Premier Academy is pleased to announce the signings of foundation Olé Premier players Riley Kelliher, Jordan Valentic-Holden and Joshua Finch for the 2012 program.
“These three are strong additions to our incoming class that we are thrilled to have on board. We are familiar with all three as they have been a part of Olé for over a year now. They are very familiar with our staff, our styles and our vision for the group, as well as the work we expect from them both on and off the field. All three of these boys are extremely strong students and positive personalities that we are confident will be a great fit for the U.S. university system” says Director of Player Development James Prosser.
Kelliher is a dynamic midfielder that is comfortable playing in the middle of the field, in a free role to create and get forward in the attack, as well as wide on either side. He is a tireless worker who has high standards for himself. Riley has been an integral part of the Wellington College 1st XI team this year and also played for Western Suburbs’ Under 19 squad.
Valentic – Holden is a diligent right back who can shut opponents down with his tenacity and work rate. He is extremely strong in the tackle and in the air, looks to connect passes out of the back and will join in the attack going forward. Jordan had a breakthrough year in 2011, appearing in Western Suburbs’ Central League men’s team, as well as being a leading player for their Under 19 squad.
Finch is an attacking centre midfielder, very technical and loves to get around the goal. His work rate is very high, he is not afraid to put the time into improving his game both on and off the field, and he prides himself on his character and leadership qualities. Joshua also played senior football for Western Suburbs in 2011, making a number of appearances in both the Premier League and Central League.
